Based in Paris, A&E dreamed of an extraordinary destination wedding far from home, and Thailand — more specifically the island of Koh Samui, their island of the heart — quickly became the obvious choice.

They gathered more than 100 guests traveling from all over the world, including France, China, the United States, Canada, and Japan, to celebrate their love in a truly breathtaking setting. The wedding unfolded over three unforgettable days, beginning with a relaxed welcome cocktail on the beach, where guests were welcomed with fresh coconuts — a perfect introduction to the tropical atmosphere.

The wedding day took place at the stunning InterContinental Koh Samui Resort. The symbolic ceremony was set on a transparent glass floor installed over the pool, with the lush island forest and the sea as a spectacular backdrop. Deeply emotional, the ceremony was filled with heartfelt speeches delivered by their bridesmaids and groomsmen, creating a moment that touched everyone present.

The celebration continued with a cocktail reception overlooking the ocean, featuring refined Thai specialties served as cocktail bites. The evening then led into a magical dinner under a starry ceiling, complete with a custom dance floor displaying the couple’s initials. This unique setting and thoughtful design created a true sense of escape in this paradisiacal island.

The day after, the celebrations ended with a relaxed pool party at a private villa, featuring a generous buffet brunch and an ice roll cart, giving guests the opportunity to unwind and enjoy one last sun-soaked moment together in Koh Samui.
